Its Cutting Time! Herbs that is….

I have rosemary fingers.  Having just returned from an amazing holiday in Ireland it is time to make the cuttings.  I am busy starting the plants that will  grace our market stall as transplants in May.  Hundreds of 3-inch tips will be snipped, trimmed, and tucked away in perlite to grow long, tender roots.  Rosemary is only the beginning…next comes passion flowers, bay trees, pomegranates,  sage, thyme, lavender, and lemon verbena.  Spring is definitely on the horizon.0220161708
